Our Story
SBK Consultants was founded in 2010 by H. David Smith and Terrence Smith with a simple premise: organizations deserve honest technology advice from people who have nothing to sell them.
After decades in enterprise IT — working inside Fortune 500 environments at Citibank, IBM, and beyond where vendor relationships often drove technology decisions — David and Terrence saw the same problem playing out at smaller organizations. Midsize businesses and nonprofits were being steered toward solutions that benefited the consultant's bottom line, not the client's operations.
